This is a must have for anyone that has hard floors, kids, and/or pets! After going through many other stick vacuums and related vacuums, I finally found the one! We have had the Swiffer Stick Vac, the Shark Stick Vac, the Dirt Devil Stick Broom Vac, and on and on. Out of all of those the Shark Stick Vac worked the best as far as suction and getting all the dirt, crumbs, dust bunnies, and pet hair. However, we had it less than 2 months and the battery was dead! For the cost of a replacement battery, we could have bought a new vac. This is why we went on the hunt for a CORDED stick vac.
Not only did we find the best corded stick vac, we found the best stick vac. The Hoover far outperforms the Shark and all the others. And we don't have to worry about the battery dying in 2 months. The Hoover is easy to use, maneuvers easily through the floors with the swivel head, and has powerful suction. It has two power levels: the first, and the one used most on the hard floors, is the regular suction. The next is the suction with the added power boost nozzle where the brushes come on. We use this setting a lot on the rugs and in the carpeted bathroom. We have three kids, two cats, and a dog and this vac gets it all. It gets all the crumbs, pet hair, kitty litter rocks, dust bunnies, and more. The only issue we had, and this is the reason for the half star, is that the nozzle got clogged one time with all the pet hair and dust bunnies. BUT, it was super easy to clear out and got it right back to brand new!
Overall, you can't go wrong with this vac. It is lightweight, easy to store, never have to worry about the battery dying, the cord is plenty long enough, and provides great suction. This is a must have for families!

We bought the Hoover S2220 Flair Bagless Upright Stick Vacuum to supplement a larger vacuum, and to do the hard floors of our home. This works beautifully, is fast and easy, and is used on an almost daily basis. When the "dirt cup" is emptied, we are amazed at what has been picked up. It takes up little space, and stands upright in our broom closet. We also use it on the tile floor of a sun porch entry, and it picks up leaves and debris from boots. It is a great little vacuum!

I recently bought this vaccum cleaner. It arrived promptly before the estimated time. I really trust Amazon with all my online purchases and always know they stand by their word of providing good service. The product arrived in very good condition as if I had bought directly from the store. I already had the exact same vacuum, but it broke after so much use, I couldn't find the same kind at any store locally so I decided to order it online. I can not say enough about how great this vacuum is. It has tremendous power & does a great job on pet hair. The cord is long enough to do big rooms & the flexible head really gets in hard to reach places. I love the power brush option for carpets and the fact that there are no bags to buy. Wonderful design, light weight and enjoyable to use. I really like the fact that I will now vacuum the pet hair every day or so instead of feeling quilty about not dragging out the house vac. Amazon has a great price and great delivery service.
