This vacuum really gets the dirt up and is light weight. It is loud but not louder than any other vacuum I've used. I tried Simplicity but went back to Hoover. This is a great value. I would agree with some of the other reviews, the attachment hose is way too short but there is a longer one available to purchase seperately.Customer Review: great suction, everything else aggravating

Lots of suction, with the best cat hair pickup I've ever seen however, everything else will drive you nuts. It's jet engine whine noisy, I wear hearing protectors. The accessory hose is short so the vacuum must be very close to where you are trying to clean. If you reach too far the vacuum tips over on top of you, which will surprise you because it's generally behind you and you don't see it happening. The hose pinches your fingers, and the accessories are laughably tiny, like little toys. To clean all the areas you cannot reach with the vacuum itself you must use these but it becomes very time consuming with a brush head that is less than 4" wide. The cord does not stay in its little channels, and always seems to be under the vacuum head. Visually, the carpet is clean but I've never gotten the sensor to go green, other than a flicker now and then. The Hoover was purchased to replace a Royal that I can no longer get parts for and luckily the functions the Royal excels at are just the ones the Hoover does very poorly. So I get to drag out two vacuums! I will never buy a vacuum again without trying it first in a shop.Customer Review: Great vacuum cleaner

This product was delivered as ordered. This Hoover replaced a Euraka product that was really bad (I would NOT recommend any Eureka product!!).
